One of my customers is considering using CSD19532Q5B their next products.
At this moment, they have the following questions?
Could you please give me your reply?

Q1.
They know CSD19532Q5B datasheet have Maximum Safe Operating Area as Figure 10.
But they want to know the curve for 30us pulse case.
Do you have any data?

Q2.
If your answer to Q1 is no, is there any way to calculate the Maximum Safe Operating Area for 30us pulse.

Hello Kazuya,

Thanks for promoting TI FETs at your customer. Please see the app note at the link below which includes links to all of TI's web based FET technical information and tools. Under the Technical Articles section, you will find a link to an app note titled: Using MOSFET Safe Operating Area Curves in your Design. There is method in this app note for estimating SOA capability at different pulse widths. There is also an Excel based tool that will do the calculation for you. Just enter the max VDS, pulse width and case temperature. I am including links to the SOA app note and tool below as well. Let me know if you have any questions.
