We are using LM61480QRPHRQ1(8A variant) Buck Converter with 400KHz switching frequency.

Please provide the following details of internal MOSFET:

rise time and fall time of the MOSFET to calculate the switching Loss of the IC.
MOSFET Rds(on) value for 8A Variant.

Please provide the Internal MOSFET Parameter.

Hello

The Rdson for the FETs is a shown in the data sheet and below:

The switching parameters for the FETs is proprietary information and can not be disclosed.

The power loss of the regulator can be determined by using the Webench Designer

Hi,

With the parameters given in the datasheet I can calculate the conduction Loss. I need to calculate switching loss of the IC.

Can you help in calculating the switching loss.

Hello

First, use the efficiency to calculate the total loss.

Then subtract the calculated conduction loss and the result will be the switching loss.
