We are trying to get ChemID from GPC tool and received error message fro TI:

Accuracy Error: Deviation is so high that it is most likely due to anomaly in the data. Please check that data files have recomended format, units and test schedule * Warning: current in A detected divider changed to 1 * Warning: Discharge rate is too high. High rate reduces ID detection accuracy.

We charged at 1C rate and discharged at 1C rate for the battery we have chossen.

Hello Ajay,

I looked over the data and there is a section of data that is missing.

The sample number changes from 3664 to 4258. Also there are formatting issues as see in this screenshot.

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for noticing the issue.

We generated the GPC report, but the ChemID received does not seem to be in the updated list of chemistry on bqStudio. Here is the generated file from GPC tool:

Can you please provide more information on ChemID 705?

Hello Ajay,

We usually expect to see multiple ChemID matches. I am kind of suspicious that only one ChemID was matched. When you fixed the data, did you also fix the gap in data between sample 3664 and 4258. Can you please send over the fixed file that was submitted to the GPCCHEM tool

Hi,

Running your data back thru the GPCCHEM tool, I got the same chemid match (705).

Upload this ChemID and see if you can complete a learning cycle.

Hi Diego,

We are not able to complete the learning cycle using the generated ChemID. The OCV reading is not taken during the DSG or CHG period as per the steps provided here:

Hi Ajay Kumar V K,

It is possible this is a poor chemID match, in that case please reach out to your local TI office or your supporting FAE about getting your cells characterized and having a custom chemid created.

If you have any problems with this, please reply to this thread.

Alternatively, there could have been a mistake made in your learning cycle procedure, if you would like to explore this route, please share a log file of the failed learning cycle for me to review.

Hi Diego,

Thank you for the update.

We searched for a local TI office or FAE support but found none.

We would appreciate it if you could provide us with the information. Our location is The Metal Box, Neath SA11 1NJ, United Kingdom.

Optional: We can send a battery sample over if we can get the address and contact person.

Regarding the log file. I will try using ChemID 0706 which seems to be closer to our battery spec and rerun the procedure one more time and share the file with you.
