Hi Team,

would you please help me with the SPI COPL and CPHA configurations, to communicate with the Chip

Does Device has any register to read the Device ID (or Similar) to make sure i was able to establish communication with the CHIP.

COPL = 0

CPHA = 1

Yes, the released part will have a Device ID.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the response, to make sure communication was established with the Chip over the spi,

Ca we read the device ID over SPI Command, or do i have to read a register with a non zero reset values.?

Can you please provide the register id to use read the Device ID, Right now i was trying to read the 04h register, was not getting any thing on the bus, Here is the SPI Scope plot

Hi Krishna,

The device ID isn't implemented yet, but the first byte sent by the device after powerup should 0x03, and the 0x04 register should read 0x0347.

The device needs a valid VBB voltage to communicate - can you confirm that VBB is powered when you try to communicate?

Hi Patrick,

Thank you so much for the quick response, i was missing the VBB (it was not connected), Now i was able to communicate with the Chip, read the register values as expected. Especially 0x0Fh and 0x10h,

Now, Was able to configure the chip to enable the ADC and VBB conversion and Configured to read the VBB voltage,

I was reading the ADC_RESULT_VBB using the 0x0B as 0x19D,

Would you please let me know how can i translate this to voltage.
