BQ76907: OTP configuration

Part Number: BQ76907

Tool/software:

We need to develop a customized OTP configuration and program it into the BQ module. However, I haven't been able to locate any documentation that provides guidance on developing and programming the OTP memory for this module.

Could you please provide some insights or resources on this?

I already checked below documents

  1. https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sluaam4
  2. https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sluucj0

I would also like to know how the OTP digital signature check works. Can host MCU access the digital signature? What does Internal Factory Trim Diagnostic Protection check for?

  • Hi Reshma,

This part does not include user programmable OTP.

The device stores a signature used to detect bit errors in the OTP memory on startup. The host is not able to access the digital signature. The internal factory trim diagnostic checks for a failure in the memory.
