TPSM83102: Application where Vout is same-as or close-to Vin

Part Number: TPSM83102

Tool/software:

Can the TPSM83102/103 act as a zero drop-out dc/dc regulator? In particular if Vin=3.3V and Vout=3.3V does the TPSM83102/103 achieve stable operation? Is type of application supported?

Also, what is the register default for Vout? Can I get device pre-programmed to have a particular default Vout value?

Thank you,

-Mark

  • Hi  Mark,

Sorry for late reply bacause we are on Chinese public holiday from 1th OCT to 7th OCT.

Yes, a zero drop-out application is absolutly ok for a buck-boost converter,  such as TPSM83102/3.

Default Vout for both device is 3.3V, difference between TPSM83102 and TPSM83103 is the internal EN bit, 83102 is default disabled while 83103 is enabled.

Then, you can configure the target vout you want before device start switching by TPSM83102.

    Regards
