TPS65987D: Regarding Vender ID

Hi support team all.

We received two questions from our customers.
The first was about the use of Vender ID.
Is it possible to use TI's Vender ID when mass-producing our system?
Also, would a separate contract be required if we did so?

The second was about Product ID.
Is the Product ID fixed?
Is it possible for the user to set it as desired?

    Thank you for reaching out!

    1- Yes, you may use TI's Vendor ID for your products if the product is not getting certified by the USB IF. If the product is going through compliance, then they need their own Vendor ID provided by the USB IF. 

    2- The product ID is a 4-digit hex number specified by the manufacturer to identify the product.
