TPS25944L: Regarding the resistance value between the Thermal Pad and GND.

Hi team,

My client says that when they connected the Thermal Pad to the GND in the printed pattern, they measured a resistance value of 27Ω between them.

Is it normal for such a resistance value to appear between the Thermal Pad and GND?

Hi Kyohei,

I appologies for delay. I have verified this (on bench and discussed this with team). Yes, you will have some impedance between the gnd pin and the thermal pad. This is expected for the device.

When soldered on the PCB, they shouldn't see impedance if they connected the thermal pad to gnd correctly in the layout.
