V3 is connected directly to the Pack+ rail without an RC network. Page 8 subsection 8.4.1 NORMAL Mode "The device monitors the differential cell voltages connected across (V1–VSS), (V2–V1) and (V3–V2)". This direct connection to Pack+ looks as if it could lead to a potentially erroneous triggering of the output drive.
Our design has opted to short V2 and V3 for a two-cell configuration, however, please can someone clarify the contradictory information?
