LP876242Q1EVM: Stuck on Waiting for data when connecting to PMIC

Hi Team,

i am currently working on the LP876242Q1EVM. I already managed to program the NVM of the PMIC to output my desired voltages upon Start Up, now i want to perform some changes to the NVM, but i cant connect to the PMIC via the Scalable PMICs GUI. The COM Port is detected, but the connection gets stuck on "waiting for data"

Do you have a Idea, why this happens? VCCA is applied, and the PMIC is working (as it outputs the pre-configured voltages)

Hi Tim,

Have you checked that the correct COM port is selected (the EVM enumerates as multiple COM ports). From the Scalable PMIC GUI User's Guide www.ti.com/lit/pdf/slvubt8 Appendix A: Troubleshooting:

Hi Tim,

Just an additional suggestion to look for as well.

Have changed the communication from SPI to I2C by reprogramming the device? If so then please change the jumper settings accordingly as outlined in the EVM user guide.

And also every time you reprogram the device, make sure to re power cycle the device for few seconds and then try to power up it again.
