BQ27426: BQ27426: High Side Sensing Vs Low Side Sensing

Part Number: BQ27426

Tool/software:

Hi

I am using BQ27426 for my battery operated project. In ic details i found that it will support both High side sensing and Low side current sensing but i am not sure about its pros and cons.

while going through TI forums i found some post says this IC does not support low side sensing while some says it would not make much difference in eighter side sensing.

Can someone explain me the pros and cons of high side sensing and low side sensing in BQ27426.
