Tool/software:
Hello, I am using a Laser driver 'QS-EVAL-Driver3' made by 'LASER COMPONENTS'
And I find that QS-EVAL-Driver3 uses the UCC27611 to drive a laser diode.
In Laser driver datasheet, it says propagation delay is 15ns, and UCC27611 datasheet says propagation delay is 14(typ.)ns.
And I have a question about the variation of propagation delay.
In test conditon which is said in datasheet, What is the variance and standard deviation of the propagation delay of UCC27611?
Hey,
Thank you for reaching out to TI with your questions regarding the UCC27611.
While I am not familiar with the design by Laser Components, it is possible that their system adds some propagation delays to the driver that is outside of the driver's footprint.
The driver's propagation delay spec is 14ns typical and 25ns maximum as seen by the switching characteristics table in the datasheet.
For the variance and standard deviation, there are two plots provided in the datasheet that show propagation delay vs temperature to show its variation.
Thank you,
William Moore
