Dear TI Expert,
Our Requirement is to perform balancing through host Micro-controller.
We found sub-command in TRM.
As per our understanding we can control balancing Switches of each cell, but we are not understanding how.
Please Clarify.
Alternatively, we understand from TRM that following parameters may be set into a BQ.
Balancing Configuration _ 0X00
Min. Cell Temp _ -20
Max. Cell Temp _ 70
Max. Internal Temp_ 70
Cell Balance Interval_ 1S
Cell Balance Max. Cells_ 3
Cell Balance Min. Cell V (Charge)_ 3350
Cell Balance Min. Delta (Charge)_ 50
Cell Balance Stop Delta (Charge)_ 10
Cell Balance Min. Cell V (Relax)_ 3350
Cell Balance Min. Delta (Relax)_ 50
Cell Balance Stop Delta (Relax)_ 10
When we examine in micro-controller that balancing conditions have been mate, we will send balancing start command. when balancing stop command.
We are not sure whether this is true or false.
We request TI Expert to clarify all the above.
