Tool/software:
Hi,
Can I connect ADJ/EN to a 5-V GPIO of a MCU rather than a reference voltage? I don't need a high accurate Vout, 5% is the target.

Hi Zehui,
Yes, as long as the voltage provided at the ADJ/EN pin is within the recommended datasheet values, it does not matter if the voltage is provided by a dedicated voltage reference, MCU GPIO, battery, etc.
Just note that the LDO output will track the voltage at the ADJ/EN pin within its given tracking tolerance (±5mV max for TPS7B4250-Q1). So, as long as the accuracy of the MCU GPIO pin is sufficient for your application, along with the extra ±5mV introduced by the tracking tolerance, no concerns with this approach.
We also have a newer version of this product available -- I recommend you check out TPS7B4255-Q1 for improved transient response, dropout, Iq, and pricing.
Regards,
Kelsey
