BQ24800: How does Table 20 come out?

Tool/software:

Could you please briefly explain how Table 20, “Suggested Component Values by Charge Current for 600-kHz and 800-kHz (Default) Switching,” comes out as the specific application recommendation?

What are the equations and values used for the table? Please take the charging current of 8A as an example (L1 = 2.2uH ?, CBATT = 40uF ?)

It would be greatly helpful to extend our application conditions other than those listed in the table.

Hello Ben,

The procedure for generating these tables is to first select the inductor value to have a ripple current that is in the range of 20 - 40% of the target charge current. Once the inductor value has been calculated, the output capacitance is chosen to have an output stage resonant frequency between 10- to 20-kHz.
