Tool/software:
Hello,
At TPS1HTC100, how much time it takes from detecting over current condition to getting into current limit regulation?
Best regards,

Hello,
My customer is a bit in a hurry and waiting for TI response on this.
Best regards,
K.Hirano
Hello,
For a short circuit condition the response time to regulate the current to the current limit is 0.5 μs. In addition, for an overload condition when ICL_LINPK is reached the response time where the regulation loop kicks back in will be comparable to that of short circuit. These two behaviors are described in section 7.3.4.1 Short-Circuit and Overload Protection.

Alan,
Thank you for your explanations,
I have one more question, how much A is the IOVCR in the Figure 7-6?
Best regards,
K.Hirano
Hello,
The value for IOVCR is about 3x the configured current limit for the application.

Alan
Alan,
Thank you for your response.
My customer has one more question.
In the datasheet specifies tIOS=0.5us at VS=24V.
Does tIOS varies depending on VS value?
Does TI have data of tIOS vs VS?
Best regards,
K.Hirano
