I am using BQ25798 for batt charging and discharging in 2S configuration,
Is there any possiblity/case when rise in temperature around TS(NTC, 103AT-2 10kΩ thermistor) will cut of the power to system (VSYS)

    Hi Abhineet,

    No.  TS only prevents charge current from BAT to SYS.  There is a separate thermal regulation feedback loop that monitors the chip die temp and clamps the output power to prevent the chip from getting any hotter.  This could reduce charge current and result in the battery powering the system load.
