TPS746-Q1: Can we connect Pin2 (NC) to Pin 1(OUT), and Pin7(NC) to Pin8(IN) ?

Can we connect Pin2 (NC) to Pin 1(OUT), and Pin7(NC) to Pin8(IN) ? Is there any concern?

    Hello Marsh,

    Thank you for your question.

    The NC pin is not internally connected to anything. Typically, we would like to connect these pins to GND for better thermal performance, but connecting these pins to anything else will not damage the device as it is not internally connected to anything.
