There is tsd protection at 170c. Continuous junction temp, device can handle upto 105c.

Hello Kunal,

For TPS2116DRLR, the operation ambient temperature is 105C in your datasheet. And the Tj (you provided) is 105C as well that doesn’t make sense.

Could you help to check again? Or Customer could use the Tsd to be the max. operation temperature?

170 can not be continuous max junction temp. Why is customer interested in TJ value?

This is for the AC inverter application. In the application, there's a 80% thermal derating requirements in the system. For example, if TJ,abs max is 125degree, the TJ in application should be not over 100degree.

If you don't offer this TJ,absmax info., customer don't know how to estimate the TJ thermal. Need your support. Very thanks.
