TPS25730: Clearing Dead-Battery Flag using I2C

Hi Team,

In the datasheet of TPS25730D, related to the use of VIN_3V3 it is mentions about Dead-Battery Flag , which need to be cleared through I2C by the HOST MCU for the TPS25730D to utilize VIN_3V3.
Please help us on how to clear this flag (register address or other information on how to access this flag etc..), or will this flag clear automatically once the VIN_3V3 is available and VBUS is removed.?

The TPS25730 does not have a means to clear the dead battery flag, as it is designed to be either powered from VIN_3V3 or VBUS. If the device boots from VIN_3V3, the dead battery flag is not set and does not need to be cleared. If the device boots from VBUS, the dead battery flag is set and remains set.

Thank you for your response. I would appreciate some clarification regarding the dead battery flag and its relationship with VIN_3V3 utilization.

Specifically, does the dead battery flag prevent the system from using VIN_3V3 if the flag has not been cleared, even after VIN_3V3 becomes available and VBUS is subsequently removed?

I want to ensure there won’t be any issues related to this scenario.

There would not be an issue powering the device from VIN_3V3 if the deadbattery flag is asserted and then VBUS is removed.
