Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76952, BQ34Z100-R2, EV2400
Tool/software:
Hi,
Background:
Our BMS features two BQ76952 and a BQ34Z100-R2 on a shared I2C bus. When I connect the EV2400 device to calibrate the BQ76952 and open the bqStudio, it only detects the BQ34Z100-R2 not allowing me to work with the BQ76952.
Questions:
1. Is there a way to select which device on the I2C bus I want to communicate with and make the bqStudio display the selected device configuration?
2. As far as my understanding goes, the VOUT of the ports on the EV2400 are capable of supplying 0V-5V. Does that mean the calibration of BQ76952 cannot be done through the power supplied by the EV2400 in porduction without using external power source to supply enough voltage to bring up the BQ76952?
3. Is there a recommended way to calibrate the BQ76952 using bqStudio in production before connecting the BMS board to the battery?
Thank you,
Kyungjae Lee
