Hi,

Based on the page 3 table of LMR36502 datasheet, LMR36502PS5RPER and LMR36502FS5RPER have spread spectrum feature. But there are no description in the datasheet about this.

Could you explain more detail about the spread spectrum feature implemented?

Have you done some testing comparison to see the EMI level difference for the part with this feature and without this feature?

    Hi Rong Feng,

    The spread spectrum is implemented by a pseudo random patterns. The overall spread of the internal oscillation with the spread spectrum available is +/- 3%.

    I have not done the testing comparison but you may see existing EMI data with the spread spectrum enabled on the LMR36503-Q1. It is expected that non-spread spectrum will have worse performance.
