Hi support team,

When connecting 1S1P battery packs in parallel to use them as 1S3P, are there any recommended cell balance ICs?

Hi,

There is no extra consideration required for parallel cells, as the cell voltages will balance themselves out. One thing to note is that this device only supports as low as 2S.

Does this mean that parallel batteries balance their voltages by themselves, so there are no balancing ICs?

Correct. Since the cells are in parallel, they will balance their voltages themselves.
