Hi Team,
Each article shares different formula for calculating the R & C value of snubber.
Please share right formulas to arrive the R & C value for implementing in Flyback converter using UCC28C42 and also please let me know what are the parameters important to design the RC snubber in the Flyback converter.
Below are the input parameters.
Input voltage: 24V to 370V DC
Output : 24V DC, 4A Max
Currently, I have selected 16K resistor, 5W X 5Nos (connected in parallel to achieve 3.2K) R value and 22nF film capacitor C value. When I powered up the board with 30V DC input and output 24V, 100mA. The resistor is becoming too hot more than 70degC.
Please check and provide the solution.
