TPS922055DMTREVM: Output doesn't work bellow 10 V (operating range 4,5-60V)

Part Number: TPS922055DMTREVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS922055

Tool/software:

Hi, I am working on a LED driver design using TPS922055 as driver for 2 Cree XFL05K-00-0000-0B0H0A0E3 LEDs (Vfv 6v), connected in parallel. Power supply will be 2 LiIon cells (so Vin range 6,5 - 8,4V ) and output current will be full (4 A).

I am testing the design using evaluation board, but I found that I can only start LEDs when Vin voltage is above 10 V.  I am testing using 1 kHz PWM signal.

Any idea why is that (datasheet states working range 4,5-60 V) and how to solve this to have the board operating also bellow 10 V?

Regards,

Gregor
