TPS65261: Does TPS65261 support discharging function?

My customer from InfyPower considers using TPS65261 in their products. He wants to know if this device can support discharging after power supply shutdown. Could you please help with it?

Hi Racheal,

It does not support. You may need to add discharge circuit and the IC itself can't support.

Thanks for your reply. The customer wants a PMIC device that contains 3 BUCK of 2Aout and supports auto-discharging after supply shutdown. Could you share some recommendations?

Hi Lucia,

EE application is the EV charging pile in smaller size. The key design is the limited size of the module thus separate BUCK aux-power is not preferred. Thanks anyway for your reply.
