TPS2124: design question

Part Number: TPS2124

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

1. Since the output voltage of the GPIO of my SOC is 1.8V, is it enough to control the SEL Pin?

2. The circuit design of PR1 can be connected to OV1 in the datasheet, but in EVB it is a separate design voltage dividing point, What is the actual suggestion?

3. from table 2,  if we currently set PR1 to 0, it will enter VCOMP mode.Is SEL useful at this time? Or should we use other designs?

  • Hi Tommy,

    Let me check on this.

  • Hi Tommy,

    1. Since the output voltage of the GPIO of my SOC is 1.8V, is it enough to control the SEL Pin? YES.

    2.  The circuit design of PR1 can be connected to OV1 in the datasheet, but in EVB it is a separate design voltage dividing point, What is the actual suggestion? PR1 and OV should have separate connections.

    3.  from table 2, if we currently set PR1 to 0, it will enter VCOMP mode. Is SEL useful at this time? Or should we use other designs?

    SEL should be low.
