I would like to inquire whether the TPS55288-Q1 can meet the requirements of output voltage: 5~12V and operating current: 7A. If not, are there any similar ICs that can satisfy these conditions?

Thanks for reaching out.

For Vin: 18-36V, Vout: 5-12V, Iout=7A, the Buck device is more suitable here. Is there any specific reason that Buck-boost device is preferred?
