Dear Team,
I recently purchased the TLV61220EVM-120 boost converter module for a project where I am boosting the voltage to 3.3V using 2 NiMH AAA 900mAh battery cells as the power source. My device consumes approximately 60mA of current.
When I connect the module to the batteries, the boost converter provides the appropriate 3.3V, but my device keeps restarting. However, when I replicate the same setup using a direct 1.5V supply from DC power supply to the boost module, the device works without any issues.
I don't believe this issue is related to current handling or the behavior of the NiMH cells, as I have tested the same setup with another boost converter (not from TI) using the same battery cells, and my device works fine. Could there be an issue with the module itself or its performance with this type of battery setup?
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
