BQ24610: Super capacitor charger with power path function.

Dear team, 

The customer want to super capacitor charger with power path function. 

BQ24610 would be good solution but this is controller type and it need external FET for power path. Below is customer requirement. 

- super cap charging current : 1 ~ 1.5A 

- power path function , If main power is down, super cap have to connect to system power. 

- competitor device : Littelfuse / LS0502SCD33 but charging current max value is 0.35A

- The customer prefer linear type charger or converter type charger, integrates power path FET.

 Is BQ24610 the best solution of TI? please review it and let me know your opinion regarding the best solution to meet customer requirement.
