Hello,

My customer requested TI's review of the TPS62918 design.

  - VIN 12V / VOUT 1.8V, 3.3V / IOUT MAX 5A

Please review the following:

  - Whether the SCONF settings are suitable for output
  - Other errors and advice
  - Whether there are any parts that can be deleted

    Hi JH, 


    I recommend a 1.4MHz fsw setting for the 1.8V rail (4.87k resistor to gnd). You can also remove 1 capacitor from the 2nd stage of the 1.8V rail, the second stage output can be 1x 22uF.

    For the 3.3V rail, I recommend adding 2x 22uF capacitors to the first stage, so that the capacitance before the ferrite bead is 8x 22uF capacitors.
