Hello experts,

I want to connect the INP port to the Vin or EN port because our system doesn't have control signal to the INP.

Does it possible?

If it is possible, which does it better to connect to the Vin or EN port?

In document of TPS4811-Q1, it is described that the INP has an internal pull-down.

I want to know a recommended the pull-up resistor value because I don't know the internal pull-down resistor value.

Hi Toru,

The internal pull down is ~50nA.

Obviously if you tie the INP pin to either EN or Vs you will not have the ability to turn off the gate driver without resetting the whole device. I will check with our team on the ability to do this.

Can you clarify what you are using at EN/UVLO? Is this connected to Vs directly or with a resistor ladder?

I'm considering that it connects EN/UVLO to VBATT with a resistor ladder like figure 9-1 of TPS4811-Q1's parts document.

Hi Toru,

I confirmed that there is no issue with connecting the INP to Vin. Just make sure you are not violating the absolute max conditions of the INP pin.
