REF200: Anomalous behavior of REF200

Part Number: REF200

Tool/software:

Set REF 2000 to deliver 100uA. a resistance to ground is mounted on the REF200 output. As long as this resistance remains within 10KOHM the current supplied corresponds to 100uA. But if I insert a resistor of 100KOHM for example, the current no longer corresponds to 100uA but drops to 80uA. Why ?
  • Hi Fabio,

    Thank you for your question!

Based on the information, my guess is that your compliance voltage is relatively low. To keep a 100 uA output with 100 kOhm resistance, the necessary compliance voltage is about 10 V.

For further calculation, what is your input voltage?

    I hope this helps!

    Best Regards,

    Andrew Li
