TPS61288EVM-064: Not sustaining the load above 0.5A

Hello,

I am using TPS61288EVM-064 evaluation board as 8V input and getting Vout 13V as expected. 

when i try to load the boost with resistive loads it is not able to sustain above 0.4A. Can you explain what will be the reason. this board is designed for 2.5A continuous current right?

what parameters and components i have to look for current setting?

    Hi nikhil,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The device is capable of such working condition.

    Other parts need to be checked.

    1.Input source. 

    Has the input source had a current limit?

    2. Input wire

    Thin wire may have high voltage drop and causes Vin drop when adding load.
