I am using TPS4H160-Q1 and my nominal load requirement is 0.5A. The operating frequency is however is up to 1 KHz. For this forum, I understand that it is possible to operate at 1 KHz. But if I operate all channels at 1 KHz and with 0.5A, I am getting ~60-70 deg C temperature rise on the case of the chip.
Is there a calculation tool available that will be able to help me in calculating the power dissipation (conduction loss + switching loss) for a load and with respect to the frequency?
