TPS25751: SourceCap(SSrC) with 0.5A/1.5A/3A

Hi Team,

I would like to check if we issue the 0x32 with desired source current and then issue the 4CC CMD, SSrC.

I expect that our source current into device, maybe iPhone, the TPS25751 can source corresponding current into iPhone. But we didn't see the corresponding current. Somteimes 700mA, sometimes 300mA when we set source current is 3A. May you let me know the possible reason here?

    Hello Roy,

    The actual current being drawn will be a function of the device and what the device requested from the available source capabilities advertised.  You should be able to connect a PD analyzer and see what the sink device requested after the source capabilities.
