Hi team,

This is Jayden, FAE for ZTE. I found below E2E that you have discussed the max discharging current. But I still want to double check with you.

Can this device handle 8.75A (100ms-200ms) discharging current? It's very important for us to win in this project. Thanks.

    Hi Jayden,

    The datasheet clearly shows that the max continuous discharge current is 6A, coupled with I_BATFET_OCP of minimum 6A. I do not believe the device can handle 8.75A discharge current.

    BQ25638 has 7A min discharge current max for 50 ms, while IBAT_PK lasts for 100 us.
