BQ34Z110: Need Help on Monitoring SoC and SoH for 48V Lead Acid Battery Bank

Part Number: BQ34Z110

Tool/software:

Dear Texas Instruments Support Team,

I am currently working on a UPS project and am looking for guidance on implementing a reliable monitoring system for the State of Charge (SoC) and State of Health (SoH) of a battery bank. My setup consists of four 12V/100Ah lead-acid batteries connected in series, resulting in a 48V system, and it supports an output load of 2100W.

To ensure accurate monitoring and longevity of the batteries, I am interested in TI's recommended solutions for:

  • Tracking real-time SoC and SoH data in lead-acid batteries.
  • Achieving high-accuracy voltage, current, and temperature readings in a 48V setup.
  • Integrating robust communication protocols (such as I2C or SPI) for data transmission.

Could you please advise on suitable TI ICs or modules that would best meet these needs? Additionally, if any reference designs or evaluation boards are available for similar applications, I would appreciate any relevant recommendations.

Thank you for your assistance, and I look forward to your expert advice.

Best regards,
