ULN2003A: Design validation for use in communication section.

Designing a custom PCB with ULN2003ADR. Attached is the design schematics. Please validate and suggest any changes.

    Hi Aakash,

    The ULN includes input current limiting resistors, so your input resistors are not explicitly needed.

    Also, there are integrated flyback diodes from each C output to COM, so unless the total clamp current exceeds 0.5A at any given time, the external flyback diodes won't be necessary either.

    Hi Patrick,

    Thanks for your valuable suggestion. In that case, I will remove the current limiting resistors. Actually, the external flyback diodes are used for relay circuitry. Still, I will check on the clamp current and reachout to TI in case if there is any chnages.
