BQ76907: How to reduce current consumption during sleep mode

Part Number: BQ76907

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

What are the parameters we can adjust to reduce the current consumption during bq76907 SLEEP MODE.

When in sleep mode normal current consumption is around 6microamps, I can see a spike of 15microamps every 5 seconds. how can I reduce the average current consumption during sleep mode.

  • Hi Reshma,

These current spikes are caused by the ADCs turning on and taking measurements. You can configure the device to do this less frequently by adjusting the Power:Sleep:Voltage Time setting.
