Hi Expert,

Customer board using TPS6521904 to power AM62, but the NRST pin will pull down all the time, we check the schematic, there is a pull-up external, we have a try, remove the SOC, but the PMIC nrst will still is low. I think the pmic are protect, do you have any suggestion for this situation? this is important for us, pls help priority this.

  • Hi Biao,

Can you please capture the outputs to see if there is an issue powering up. The NRST pin should be asserted after all outputs are successfully on. You can also read the registers to see if any faults have occurred during the power-up sequence.

    Best regards,

    Matt

  • Hi Matt,

Thanks for your answer here. NRST does not have value and keeps 0.

It‘s strange that same TPS65219 has different symbols between on the SK-AM62B-P1 and samples applied from ti.com.

    The device on the EVM:

    The device applied from ti.com.

  • Hi Skylar,

The different symbols should be okay. Have you been able to try the other suggestions? NRST will stay zero until all other outputs are powered on successfully.
