BQ24640: Unexpected switching waveforms on high side MOSFET

Part Number: BQ24640

Tool/software:

During some operating conditions, the switching waveform on the gate driver output is abnormal.

At low output voltages and operating currents, the gate driver output for the high side MOSFET has weird sinusoidal pulses in addition to the normal square shape. Please see the oscilloscope screenshots below, where yellow is the gate on the high side MOSFET and purple is the gate on the low side (synchronous) MOSFET.

Additionally, sometimes the low side driver does not output a driving signal at all and the charger relies on the low side diode.

I have tried changing the value of the gate resistors but this has not had any observable effect.

Thank you in advance.
