UCC28700: UVLO reset occurring on some devices in production

Part Number: UCC28700

Tool/software:

We are seeing some devices in production that are utilizing the UCC28700 to convert 120VAC to 5V occasionally do a UVLO reset. We have only seen this on a few devices but have confirmed:

  1. Temperature when it is occurring was <25C
  2. Input voltage was stable and well above input under voltage setting
  3. Current being drawn on output during reset was low (<50mA) and stable

In our design the VS and CS pin resistors are close to the IC and traces are short.  The CS pin sense resistor is 1.65ohms and series resistor 3.4k.  VS resistors are 75k/24.3k.

We are trying to determine which fault is causing the UVLO reset/restart and what the root issue that causes this is.

I can only share the schematic and board layout privately due to confidentiality reasons.
