TPS62801: Downside of using inductor >0.82uH

Are there any major risks associated with using an inductor > 0.82uH (say, 2.2uH) in order to reduce ripple with the TPS62801.

Hi Austin,

We are not recommending to use an inductor value outside the specification. With higher inductance the control loop could be unstable!

If we are trying to reduce volatge ripple and we are at the max inductance is the only recommended option to increase capacitance? Or is there something else?

Hi Stephen,

right, you can only increase output capacitance.
