TLV70018-Q1: Minimum load requirement?

Part Number: TLV70018-Q1

Tool/software:

We are using TLV70018DDCR which states "The devices regulate to specified accuracy with no output load."  A previous designer was told by TI that a minimum load was required for reliability/stability since our actual current draw is very low (1-2mA) and in fact, our board does not operate properly without a 10mA fixed load.  Can you confirm that this load is recommended?

    Hi Daniel,

    The TLV70018DDCR is stable without a load applied to the output. 

    However, LDO's are usually specified with some small amount of current (usually in the range of 1-10mA) as the LDO is "awake" and reacts faster to changes in line or load, etc.  But this LDO is stable at 0A loading.
