Hello,

I am current designing a solar power supply with a 12V 2W solar panel to charge a 6V 6Ah Lithium Battery.

I am considering to use the BQ24650, however I was wondering if there are similar PMUs I could use that can be simulated in Pspice or Psim?

Also, with the given input voltage and power to the PMU, would this work for this PMU?

No, we do not have any similar battery chargers that can be simulated with Pspice.

I see no obvious issue with this input supply.

Hello Christian,

Thank you for response. So if there are no similar battery chargers, what would you recommend as a solution to model the battery charger in my design to test it out for simulations?

Could a buck boost converter be used to regulate the power flow between the solar panel and the battery?

We have a BQ24650 EVM for testing, however, we do not have any Pspice or simular models.
