LM64440-Q1: Spreadsheet and web bench difference

In terms of efficiency there is a pretty large difference between the quick start spreadsheet and the WebBench version , it is very obvious at light load.

Which one is correct?  I'm after a very efficient DC-Dc for Vin = 5 - 28V (8V for the most efficiency) Vout = 3.3V @ 500mA

    Hi Christen, the efficiency data approximation has more validation done it then the excel spreadsheets, in general.

    I would choose the WB over the spreadsheet.

    LM6440 is a good choice if the max load current is 4A.

    LMR43620-Q1 or LMQ66430 is a better choice if the max load current is 2A or 3A.
