BQ24610: 12.6V Battery charging buck converter charging status issue

Tool/software:

At the end of charging cycle LED connected to stat1 pin toggle. Charging current going below termination limit and againg coming up. Kindly suggest the solution

What is the voltage on VFB when this issue occurs?

Do you have a system load?

Is STAT 2 toggling?

Vfb toggle between 2.06V and 2.112V

System load is not connected

Not monitoring STAT 2, Nothing is connected there

After some time, STAT 1 stops toggling when amplitude of charging current goes below termination current. It becomes completely off

How much should be the precharge current of battery if my charging current is 5A

Hello Mahesh,

I recommend precharge current to be 1/10th of charge current, so for 5A, I recommend 0.5A.
