Dear TI Team,
We want to design a cell balancing & monitoring functionality based BMS for one of our battery requirement. The battery specs are 6S1P (12S1P in future) with 24V battery system. Our requirement also consist of continous monitor of cell internal resistance. We may need your inputs on this requirement.
Currently we do have solution based on BQ76952 chipset for 16S application.
Does BQ76952 measure the cell internal resistance? If so could you please suggest any ref design?
As of our current availabilty BQ76952 chipset is having same pin for both sensing of voltage and balancing functionality Is there anyother BMS chipsets that has seperate balance pin for balancing operation by controling this pin can we derive the cell internal resistance?
If BQ76952 does not measure resistance please suggest any ref design or chipset that is compatible of BMS functionality with integrated Cell internal resistance measurement? if so please suggest the ref design?
