Hello Team,

Attached you will find the diagram of the wireless charging part of a 7.8Ah LiOn battery.
We are limited in size to 20mm in diameter for the receiving coil.
There are 2 chargers in parallel to increase the charging current.

The BQ51050B will not parallel well, we do NOT recommend it.

One problem is the Wireless Power receiver (BQ51050B) will need to communicate with the TX to control operating point. Two in parallel will create communications issues.

Hi Bill,

Thanks to your reply. We don't have two in parallel but we want to use 2 TX wireless charger. Only the output are connected together. Could this be a problem?

Is there another circuit that would allow current charge?

Hi Eric

Separate transmitters will help.

But the parallel operation of the BQ51013B was not panned for the device, no evaluation of this configuration has been done.

You will need to evaluate to determine if it meets your requirement.

Hi Eric

TI does not have higher current devices. But 10W and 15W devices are available from other manufacturers.
